Puppy Introduction & Groom Training (13 weeks to 6 months) - From £25*

For a young Puppy the world can be an exciting and scary place, full of new sights, sounds and smells. Just as you would take your puppy to training classes, it's super important to get them used to the grooming process from a young age.

As soon as they've been cleared by your vet for venturing into the big wide world then please book them in for a visit.

The main aim of these sessions is to prepare your puppy for a lifetime of grooming, this requires commitment from you as Pawrents to embrace good groom habits and groom training at home and to understand that frequent and regular visits during the developmental stage is imperative to alleviating any future stress potentially associated from being away from you.

We try to explain to our customers that dropping your puppy off to be groomed is similarised to dropping your child off for their first day at school - it can be emotional for you and your puppy and we want to work with you both to create a stress free grooming life for many years to come. De-sensitising your pup to the sights, sounds and smells of the grooming salon and preparing for when the time comes for a 'full groom' with the sound and sensation of clippers.

At these visits we offer an enhanced Bath & Dry service incorporating exploration and play time; in addition to the Bath & Dry your puppy will learn to stand for their pads, feet & nails trimmed, their hygiene area clipped and eyes cleared of hair. This is all a work in progress as your pup builds that all important bond with their groomer and relaxes into grooming.

Nail Clipping - From £7*

Due to the different ways of working regarding Corona Virus - appointments will need to be made for nail clips.

Ear Plucking & Cleanse - £10*

Removal of excess hair and gentle cleanse to freshen up.

* All our prices are variable and are wholly dependant on the size and temperament of your dog, the condition of your dogs coat, length etc. We are more than happy to provide a free assessment, please contact us for further information.

Anything else?

We offer other single treatments such as dry clips (for cases of welfare), brush-outs, mini-grooms, puppy packages and pamper treatments including our range of deep-cleansing facial treatments and pawdicures.

We're here to help keep your woofer looking and feeling at their best, so please feel free to ask if there's anything you think we can help with.

Nervous dogs:

Unfortunately not every dog likes the process of grooming. This can be for different reasons ranging from a nervous dog who prefers to be on their own to a dog that doesn’t like the hairdryer or the sound of the clippers etc.

We understand that every dog is individual and therefore we will always try to adapt a groom to your dog's specific needs. If you are aware that they don’t like certain parts of the grooming process please discuss this with us at the time of booking your appointment so we can ensure your dog gets the best possible, stress-free grooming experience.

Aggressive dogs:

Unfortunately sometimes a dog can display aggressive tendencies during the grooming process and may try to bite. We do assess each dog individually and try to understand triggers and may require the use of a muzzle, or ask to break the groom down over a number of sessions. We have had great success with a range of approaches as we are keen to understand the individual triggers and work with the dog and owner to overcome any challenges/barriers in the long-term. However, there are a small number of cases that present a high risk and may not be suitable to be salon groomed or we may not be suitably matched for that dog. In these circumstances we reserve the right to end the groom for the safety of both the dog and our groomers. You will however be asked to cover the cost of any work completed.

Appointment Deposits & Cancellations:

We have worked hard and are proud to have created a sought after range of dog grooming services. As such we are typically very busy and every appointment is precious to us and our customers.

To secure a grooming slot we request a small deposit at the time of booking. We understand individual circumstances change and offer the option of amending the booked appointment time (subject to availability) with a minimum of 24hrs notice.  Unfortunately, if notice is given with less than 24 hours notice we reserve the right to re-request a further deposit to re-book.

Payment methods:

We are able to take contactless card payments, bank transfer or cash - exact change only (due to C-19 precautions).
